Weekend Intensives
Weekend Intensives are where creativity meets efficiency. The Weekend Intensive service offers a unique opportunity for theatrical productions, show choirs, and other performance groups to workshop three to four stunning choreographic numbers within a single extended rehearsal.

To date, MKH has executed fun and effective weekend intensives at Plainview-Elgin-Millville High School and St. Charles High School.

To many, a seven hour rehearsal day to stage three full production numbers would seem impossible, but with MKH Entertainment, it's a reality.

Approximately three months prior to the intensive, St. Charles High School's drama director, Kristen Schmalzriedt, met with MKH to finalize the three production numbers to be taught. They collaborated on cuts, then Megan got to work creating custom choreography for the students of St. Charles HS. Thanks to 20 years of experience working in musical theater, Megan knew just how much could be accomplished in seven hours.

On the day of the intensive, Kristen was ready with set pieces and props, and the cast was prepped for a long, but fun day. Megan's high energy and efficient teaching skills enabled her to keep the cast motivated and excited while learning a huge amount of material.
